Product Description
Alloy grades 1070 and 1085 belong to the industrially pure aluminum family and are commonly used as base materials for manufacturing high-reflectivity mirror-finished aluminum sheet and strip. They offer the following key advantages as mirror-finished aluminum substrates.
Extremely High Reflectivity
- 1xxx-series pure aluminum has the highest reflectivity of all aluminum materials
- 1070: ≥99.70% and 1085: ≥99.85% aluminum content with very low impurities
- After precision rolling and polishing, surface can achieve reflectivity approaching 90% or higher
Excellent Machinability
- Extremely good ductility and softness
- Easy to process through stamping, drawing, and bending
- Resistant to surface defects like cracks and orange peel
- Maintains shape and reflective properties well after forming
Excellent Anodizing Performance
- Produces uniform, dense, and transparent anodic oxide film
