4mm Marine Grade Aluminum Alloy Plate Sheet
This high-performance marine-grade aluminum alloy plate/sheet is engineered to meet rigorous ASTM standards (ASTM B209/B928), specifically tailored for demanding marine and industrial applications. Available in 4mm thickness, it incorporates alloys 5005, 5083, 5054, 6061, and 6063, processed under H32 (strain-hardened and stabilized) and H116 (corrosion-resistant temper for marine environments) tempers.

- Superior Corrosion Resistance: Alloys 5083 and 5054 excel in saltwater environments due to high magnesium content (3-5%), offering unmatched resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking (SCC). H116 temper enhances corrosion performance through specialized stabilization, ideal for hulls, offshore platforms, and coastal infrastructure.
- High Strength-to-Weight Ratio: 5083 alloy (yield strength: 215-255 MPa) and 6061-T6 (yield: 276 MPa) provide exceptional load-bearing capacity while reducing structural weight, critical for vessel efficiency and fuel savings.
- Weldability & Formability: 5005/5054 alloys exhibit excellent weldability (TIG/MIG) and cold-forming properties, enabling complex fabrication without cracking. 6063 alloy is optimized for extruded profiles, ideal for railings, masts, and trim.
- Low-Temperature Toughness: 5083 alloy maintains ductility down to -196°C, suitable for cryogenic storage tanks and polar vessels.
