These marine-grade aluminum panels are specifically engineered to withstand harsh marine environments. With excellent corrosion resistance against salt water, they are ideal for shipbuilding, marine components, offshore structures, and marine equipment.
Alloy Specifications
6061 Aluminum: Features magnesium and silicon as main alloying elements. Offers medium strength, excellent corrosion resistance, weldability, and oxidation performance. This Al-Mg-Si alloy provides good plasticity, no stress corrosion cracking tendency, and superior cold workability. Requires solution treatment and quenching for maximum strength.
6063 Aluminum: An extrusion alloy with lower compressive strength than 6061 but excellent extrudability. Known for high fracture toughness, good thermosetting properties, superior welding capability, and bright surface finish. Widely used in architectural applications like aluminum doors, windows, and curtain walls.
